JK2006	I loved Persia when I went there 50 years ago. The Shah was still in power and the secret police were powerful and hated. But the boulevards were wide with clear clean air and those wonderful mountains ringing Teheran, on the other side of that icy sea, full of caviar fat sturgeon. And the people - some of the most beautiful in the world; gorgeous skin and what eyes (and eyelashes). I've never been back to Iran but hope I can return.
