JK2006 But it's OK as long as all the legal and copyright rules are obeyed and Carole got a great deal on publishing, composer, writer rights. Creatively it very much depends. I'd never allow it for one of my tracks unless it was good. And it can be very profiable; loads of cash from Madonna's sample of an Abba song which, to me, increased interest in the far better original.

I like Eminem but actually think the use of the intro and chorus will get millions chasing up the Zombies original. Just like we got when a rapper sampled a bit of 10cc a few years ago.
andrew Never got the idea of doing sampling, unless you want a law suit.
