andrew Alesha is so out of touch with music out there, why does she have a golden buzzer and 4 judges, when best of 3 is the norm ?

The girl group didn't harmonise, why aren't there bands who play their own instruments on BGT ?
Blondini Alesha's obviously never heard of The Overtones. "We don't have a group like this - a swing boy band". Erm, yes we do. Well, "manband".

Summed up by the very good 4 man group who did an excellent version of That's Life. But it was just basically a photoshop Sinatra rendition. They all 4 seemed to have good voices and fine sense of harmonies. So - find a NEW song, work out a DIFFERENT way of singing and arranging it; instead of sounding like a good 50s tribute band, sound like a different and original 2014 band.

It's not rocket science, is it?
Nope, it basically took 4 blokes to do well what 1 man can do better.

Also, the girl group that Alesha pressed the golden buzzer for seemed like a set-up to me.

I didn't think they were particularly good and if you look closely, neither did the audience. They kept showing clips of the family clapping along but if you look at the people around them, nobody else is into it. The shots of the judges smiling and enjoying it appeared to be from a different part of the show if you look at the audience behind them and I also felt the huge round of applause at the end was overdubbed.

The real sound was probably that of a giant yawn.

The funny thing is, a lot of people like tribute bands and performers but I have no idea why.
Then again, I like novelty songs that everyone else hates and I was cross when the boy last week was buzzed off in his prime.

andrew Reminded of a talent contest I saw in Butlins years and years ago, the only people who enjoyed were old grannies.
