Pru Thanks JK. I had a quick look around and apparently it's by a Batley-born singer/comic called Sandy King.

JK2006 Indeed that WAS, I believe, the derivation of the name but it wasn't my song (must be another King).
I think it was the B side and can recall nothing about it OR the A side!
Pru Here's an obscure little query! I heard this single by Arkwright earlier today - written by your good self! Very nice it is. Was the name of the group/singer inspired by the Arkwright of Ronnie Barker's Open All Hours?
