Indeed ITK - a No2 for Middle of the Road but generally ignored as it never made No1 - the reason I decided to do a new version of it. |

That song ticks all the boxes to be a hit: It's banal, frothy, and has a repetitive hook you've probably heard before but can't remember where. It's the sort of wallpaper music no one consciously takes notice of when they're having a pint of Guinness and gazing up at the sky...
So how many units will they need to shift to get it to No.1? 550? It certainly won't have to be an astronomical number! 
P.S. If you did bother to take notice of the words you might get the wrong end of the stick. Isn't there a shop in the Kings Road called R Soles?  |
