I was watching an episode once and was really into it, and that suddenly out of the blue, my mates current tune was played, when they were flying kites or something. I rang the studio the next morning, using the number on my "No Limits" credit card, and I was on the phone to a nice lady for absolutely ages, much to my surprise. Great days, it was a time when you felt a big buzz about.
Back to T`Pau, who were from the very exciting Siren stable, the buzz of new music in that office was incredible. They had incredible faith in their acts on the USA marketplace, and nobody hanging around there, including myself, expected the ermm , what we considered elderly(can you believe that?)Cutting Crew and T`Pau to be the big acts on the label, everybody thought that Breathe would be the big one.

I can't help but think that this 'remix' of 'Summer of '69' would be huge in the clubs.
Apparently it's DJ Rankin V DJ Otzi.
Having not heard the DJ Otzi version, I'm not quite sure what DJ Rankin has done to the track
Let's call it a 'remixed remix'

and if I remember correct both T'pau and Bryan owed a lot to a certain TV series of the time, No Limits - with 5.9 million BBC2 viewers at peak yet never mentioned in discussions about such teen TV shows as The Tube (700,000) and The Word (400,000).
