Topic History of: Northern Soul - the movie
Max. showing the last 5 posts - (Last post first)
Author Message
Unknown The film seems to of took a lot of info from the first book about the Northern Soul scene NIGHTSHIFT By Pete Mckenna which came out in the 90's.

Far too many real life incidents in the film for it to be a coincidence.

This is only a good thing though
In The Know (as always) ever so timely !

Repeat of "Northern Soul - Living for the Weekend" tonight, BBC4 at 10:55pm
In The Know (as always) good plug for the movie here -

JK2006 Sounds fabulous - I shall try to find a screen in London to watch it. Dean Parrish's I'm On My Way is on our UK Records 80 great hits package.
