It would be very interesting to hear all the material he has written over the years that is not on the album.
You cannot stop a writer creating, you/they can stop them releasing it only. |

Yusef (see, I'm doing the politically PC thing) is one of the best songwriters in the world. Full stop, period and punt op de lijn. I heard just the tiniest snippet live on telly and it struck me what an extraordinary voice he still has. So I'm looking forward to the album.
C'mon, listen to "Morning Has Broken" and try and find one singer to day that can make that voice/guitar thing sound so impressive.

Sorry... nope.
Never liked his stuff when he was Cat Stevens, not keen now. I can hear he's talented but not all talent is to my taste. |
