Sadly I can predict it will be awful TV, not entertaining viewing, same old tired format; dull as ditchwater giving further ammunition to those who say "music on TV doesn't work" (it did for me - Entertainment USA and Record of the Year got over 9 million viewers and No Limits topped the BBC2 chart with 6 million viewers).

This looks to be pitched somewhere between the Brits and the Record of the Year, and I expect BBC will be plugging it heavily over the next few days on BBC1, Radio 1 & Radio 2. A mix of awards chosen by industry experts and those voted for by the public.
All the tickets for the event at Earls Court next Thursday are now all sold out, so we'll have to watch it on TV - unless like JK we are able to obtain access all areas without a ticket or a backstage pass.
