Hi Eh !
Well this is a signature and is a form of promotion and advertising whereas a tip is something completely different. You dont tip your own music, you plug your own and your reasons for are slightly different to tipping. I don't tip my own music unless i am asking for feedback. I think tipping is to alert what you think is a hit ready to go. That's just how i see it and of course you may have different ideas and opinions about it. |

Good points Stewy, and JK, but I do worry about some unfinished works in some areas not being posted which could be hepled in developement. I do agree though this is a very small percentage as it allways was sadly. Either way, it spares us the X Factor. |

I think calling the ROTD posters 'losers' is a bit much. Bare in mind that some posters use their real names and a patently, for all to see, not losers, Debs Wild for instance.
Yes, a lot of new posters seem to pop up whenever tips are requested, but that happens here too. I recently sifted through an obviously street teamed thread about some band or other. Can't remember the name, 'Citizen something', possibly
I lurked on both ROTD and tipsheet for months before feeling compelled to join in.
I agree that some of the tips weren't ready (not necessarily bad though) but I also had a root through and found some stuff I really liked.
Also, I think it can help a band if they get tipped before they are ready, if constructive criticism or even better, the offer of help are forthcoming. Sometimes all it needs is a good producer or manager to give some guidance. |

Well, I thought I was more polite than that! But the gate was left open and in ran the sheep, I`m afraid. |
