"it will be amazing if you haven't become a distant memory, like Steve Brookstein or that fat girl, by next week."
Too true, though maybe later than next week. |

"Amazing", says silly Scottish Steve, "that it's the No1 download today". No, Steve, it would be amazing if it wasn't. And it will be amazing if you haven't become a distant memory, like Steve Brookstein or that fat girl, by next week. |

Lucy only got through because Will and his fans didn't seem to have any knowledge of opera singers. There are hundreds of women with better voices struggling to find a company. There are probably a few better ones who are singing in Covent Garden bistros. It was a pointless decision to get her to the final because she's no recording future. Sasha had a decent voice with some potential to improve and be more distinctive. The winner seemed a nice guy but that celtic vibrato has become almost as irritating a cliche as Mariah Carey-style warbling. I think overall the show improved this year, with Rita Ora proving an inspired choice as judge. They need to keep her for next year and they desperately need to produce a hit record. Personally I don't think that ought to be as hard as it's seemed so far- Cowell churns out appalling stuff that charts. Universal needs to pull its finger out. |

Agreed Honey; Wil and Lucy's duet was the best thing in the show. All four finalists last solo performances were weak I thought. The only one of the last eight worth a contract was Joe. |
honey!oh sugar sugar. |

Not impressed by Stevie.
Nor me. I cant see anything distinctive about him although he seems nice enough.
I did like Will i Am's duet though. |
