NCS	And today Carole King "It Might As Well Rain Until September": that double-tracking ... out of tune, out of sync but so beautiful. Then Joni Mitchell "Night In The City", hot guitar player, great lyricist and, after some Barbra Streisand schmaltz, a good Swinging Blue Jeans cover "You're No Good".
JK2006	And this week one of the classics (rarely heard) She's About A Mover - Sir Douglas Quintet
JK2006	Ah the mighty Micky Most, a very under rated producer, deserving of a BPI award.
STRATEGY	I really enjoy hearing the stereo versions of original recordings as for me stereo adds another dimension to these familiar hits, particularly when listened to on headphones. I recently purchased the new collection of original Herman's Hermits hits on the Bear Family label which are newly mixed to stereo, having previously only been available in mono. They sound fantastic!
