Agreed, and the Primettes one was a surprise, they created a completely diferrent sound as The Supremes. Steve and Eydie "Just Want To Stay Here' a great record but wasn't the original mono which has a better feel and impact than the stereo (as is often the case with 50's and 60's singles).
JK2006 I've Told Every Little Star by Linda Scott. And Tommy Quickly! My God, some obscure gems get played in this wonderful, unmissable series.
JK2006 And The Primettes Tears of Sorrow - ghastly, awful, bad; no wonder they changed their name to The Supremes!
JK2006 The Hollies again; the most under rated group of the 60s.
