The Mail is up to its usual BBC-bashing hypocrisy. Having slammed the show as irredeemably awful and something the BBC shouldn't be doing, it previewed the new series by saying, 'The BBC could well regret losing this popular show to its rival ITV'.
That woman with the weird lips looked like she was torn between doing an Elvis snarl and a Huw Edwards sneer. Most peculiar. |

They were first popular in the late fifties so they are due to come around again.

I'm afraid I turned off after a few acts; I can only take so much of people telling no talents they have talent. |

They have made it clear that they are not going to turn for anyone singing rock, musical theatre or anything operatic - so why keep putting people on who sing in those genres? Some of the best singers tonight got standing ovations from the audience, but no-one turned. |
