The Common Linnets correction
JK2006 The BBC is not the problem NCA; it's the music industry.
JK2006 Normally I don't bet on Eurovision unless there's a certainty and that, to me, is usually a certain global hit. My ears told me Sweden's Frans had that. Perhaps wrong - as I was not with Just A Little Bit, my perfect Eurovision winner, which only came 8th. That was, I suspect, because Gina G was merely adequate whereas Katrina, the following year, was superb and sold a weaker song much better. I still think If I Were Sorry deserves to be huge. Let us wait and see. Like the Dutch entry a few years ago (The Flying Linnets?) which came second but was a global hit.
NCA The best 2 songs were from Israel and Poland.

It was clear months ago the UK would finish way down the list. It's a disgrace. The British song choice really needs sorting. Above all the BBC should not be the decision maker on any level.
