JK2006 I reckon Eric is a decent guy trying hard to do the best he can and he fully realises the value of music.
DJones With Nicoli as CEO of Recorded Music, EMI is no longer in the music biz.

His only goal is to sell the company. And he has proven since 1999 that he is not able to do this.
JK2006 Despite Flom's good ears (I love Matchbox 20 and Rob Thomas) he has no great track record in breaking acts.
Weiss does, for both Calder and BMG.
He will now be given SONY US by Stringer, that you can guarantee, but he could have demanded and received far more from Nicoli.

EMI needs someone who not only finds but breaks acts in the USA. Barry does just that.
