Exactly K. Nothing is original. Even in 1965 I didn't deliberately but I often think Everyone's Gone To The Moon is similar to Two Old Ladies Got Locked In The Lavatory. And more than just chords. I've been locked in the lavatory for 16 years.

This probably didn't help, having said that, he's merely demonstrating that part of the chord progression is the same, which ordinarily, can't be copyrighted.
The chord progression for the verse of "Thinking Out Loud" is the same as "Let's Get It On" for the entirety but it's just I, III, IV, V. Nothing unusual going on, it's on of the most common progressions around.
