JK2006 The tea boy at Stock, Aitken, Waterman who filled in on a missing vocal track turns out to make perhaps the album of the year - Rick Astley, in his 50s, turns out to be very musically talented. Likewise Justin Bieber, only made a star because he was pretty, manages to make another contender for the album of the year. God forbid, we may even see members of One Direction or Spice Girls make great music in their dotage. Yet the great talents tend to fade away and make less and less decent music. Dylan may, deservedly, be our Nobel Prize Winner but his best music and lyrics were many, many years ago. Happy Christmas to all Tipsters as shepherds sewed their socks by night.
