zooloo The big supermarkets have bumped into a nice strategy, for them, with farmers. Screw the cost price down to a minimum.

Perhaps this is what happens when applied elsewhere, cut Handleman's profit to the bone so Handleman find another revenue source.

It may stifle smaller labels/outfits but probably less so than Tesco's "safe/family" buying policy. They don't want anything that would upset, disturb or challenge anyone, ever. This just adds to the industry stagnation.
