Very pleased to see UnEntitled at number 1.
Their two new tracks on their MySpace show they haven't just "got lucky". Some good solid song writing going on here. (FAB people listen to their Cornish compatriots The Replicas too)
The lowest new entry Gentry Morris is good enough song, sounds radio friendly to me. Nice work.
The Bettie Serveert recording is little boxy, has a certain charm, I think "very clean" wouldn't be a good idea but I have a slight feeling the recording is letting this one down a bit. Cool song.
Very pleased to see Our Mart climbing up with a fine song. More like this please Mart
The Stones-esq Euphoria is an arguably deserved new highest entry. Stones-esq but not too much so. Well paced. Not my favourite this week but pretty good.
The FAB Chart remains very consistent in putting up very listenable songs. I know it's more effort involved than it appears. Cool.
How long before somebody gets two songs in the Top 20? (Or a regional invasion, like Cornwall lol - you'd think I was earning from those bands or at least being paid to plug - I wish.)
The Cat
They got good reviews on the tipsheet and they are now the FAB no.1 - Unentitled have made it with Simplify. Not bad for a group of early teens. I still love that guitar riff.
New in at 3 is Bart Davenport's Euphoria .... It's the sax what does it for me!! Love that sax!
Hollies climb to 8
and
Tipsheet's own Mart climbs to 10.
Minus 5 are in at 9 with some wonderful lyrics in Your Time Will Come.
New at 18 is Bettie Serveert.
New at 20 is Gentry Morris.
Both fairly good songs.
I can honestly say I enjoyed listening to the entire FAB Chart this morning. Hope it keeps going forever.
