ah, yes, splendid. I see that the Glob. Yod. might have tempted you to slip into some sort of national costume and vigourously dance the night away.
They'll be doing it on the dancefloors, planes to the Med, in pubs, at parties and generally doing a fiendish routine wherever the mood takes them...I predict a riot! In fact, I feel a sudden urge to slide into something traditional and get the circulation going a bit. Mmmm, now let me see... |

Powerlight are indeed very good. I'd expect something a little more lightweight for a summer hit. But "What Can You Do" is a great track irrespective. |

Yes "Peaches" reminds me of playing in park in the summer hols , thats a good one.
"Going to Barbados".
Classic. |

What I think could be a hit ... IF these guys get the breaks and the right promotion, etc ... is a song called "What Can You Do" by Powerlight.
Currently unsigned, but that doesn't have to be a major handicap these days. The song has a certain something, and I could imagine people listening to it as they cruise along with the top down on a warm summer day.

On a nostalgia note, does the Stranglers' "Peaches" count as a summer hit? Probably not, what it was my gang's signature tune that summer.
I can't really offer future hit tips as I can't hear any out there for the moment. |
