Indeed.
When I used to screen print for a living, it became an in joke to crash the drying racks in time with the drum crashes on The Boxer.
I wish i`d sampled it, it was a wonderful noise!

Actually it was "Lie La Lie" but let's not get pedantic.
The Boxer is my favourite track of one of my favourite LPs. Wonderful stuff.
On a side, isn't it wonderful the way these threads evolve.

Thr Boxer was "La La la`s", followed by a reverb drum sound that sounded like a lightening strike!

Wasn't it The Boxer which had do-be-do's in it? Though that's nothing like the song in the chart either.

The Cat wrote: Having listened to 'Morning Fantasy' a few times now I have concluded that it is nothing like 'Mrs Robinson'. It does remind me of something by The Frank And Walters, but most songs remind me of several others even if they don't directly sound like them.
I'm backing away from my Mrs Robinson thing there is a little bit (slightly) reminiscent but not entirely.
It's still ringing bells in the back of my mind - it sounds familiar but it may be 2 or 3 songs combined from the late 60s era. Not sure.
