I love Fredrik's work, and he's a really nice kid. He deserves this number one, even though it doesn't reflect sales. His producer was telling me that he's had a lot of people asking about the FAB CHART but nobody seems to know how it's put together. It certainly creates a buzz.
Jackson Cook's been fairly quiet about his placing, but that's how he is. Both of these kids could go far with the right guidance.
Unentitled .. one of the best Indie bands in the UK? .. Probably.
The future of music looks pretty good. |

Fredrik Strand Hallands, I'm not a fan, played very well but just too derivative for my taste. Really went off it when he began singing, that affected "blues/jazz growl" just gets on my tits.
Freedom, Young Georgian Lolitaz. I like this, not overwhelmingly but I like it.Certainly reveals a creative imagination and that alone I applaud.
Lot of blues things this week. Walter Mann, again not one for me. Very standard and predicable, a dash of Dire Straights doesn't help it just annoys me more.
Quite liked Closeout... at first Nicely played but it didn't do much for me and the "Hosa, hosa, hosa" (Or whatever they say) is just horrible. Didn't really go anywhere.
Yay for Mart!
Glad to see Unentitled creep up a bit further. |

Listened to Walter Mann's song a few times now and it continues to grows on me.
Fredrik Strand Hallands blues playing cannot be faulted. Very impressive for one so young.
Weirdest and best into must go to the Young Georgian Lolitaz. Not sure what style their song is. Experimental Indie? |

Indeed , lovely sunny chart, lovely sunshine down here and many exercisable activities done!
Nice to go up a place on the week of the release on I-Tunes.(++blatant plug alert++)
Quite rightly, music should never be taken away from the young people though, and the chart shows that this week in a grand manner.
I`m pretty sure I`ve worked with Chris Shaw. |

I love the number One. That kid has real talent.
The teens have taken control, with Unentitled at 2 and Jackson Cook at 3. However, Rob Harding does hold on to a top ten position.
New in at 11 is Walter Mann with some likeable Roots Blues.
In at 16 are The Young Georgian Lolitaz with a song about Freedom.
In at 18 is Shawsax, real name Chris Shaw, with some groovy saxophone.
Mart goes back up a place. Maybe that's because the sun came out for a couple of days.
Good stuff.
