I still find any chart fascinating to watch, the Fab Chart is like a little radio station in itself. |
PBS |
I'm very happy for Jackson. This might not be the biggest or most significant chart, but it does show that somebody out there likes him, and every little bit helps. Being Number One in any chart at age 13 is an achievement. |
The Cat |
Only two new entries this week. One is a band from Cornwall called Tourniquets, with quite a cool and easy sound. The other is Love Unlimited Orchestra with Walking in the Rain.
I was waiting for Roy Wood to enter the chart with "The Rain Came Down on Everything" .. but the sun seems to be finally forcing it's way through the couds, so maybe not.
Slade make the top ten, as do The Shed and Jack Johnson.
One 13 yr old replaces another at the top, as Jackson Cook makes Number One.
For the last three weeks, three out of the top four songs are performed by teenagers.
