Red This guy makes Jack Johnson look like '65 Dylan.

Truly awful, devoid of merit both musical and lyrical, and rendered interesting by virtue of a set of ginger dreadlocks only.

Seriously-Kate Nash (low-rent Lily), Mika (low-rent Scissors/Queen), Jack Penate (low-rent full stop), Newton Faulkner (squatter Jack Johnson)...why are the new British breakthroughs of 2007 all a sack of disgraceful pants?

Somebody, anybody, enlighten me please. Every midweek and Sunday chart this year brings the same tired, tawdry, rehashed rubbish. We need some acts to bring either some proper, considered artistry to the table or arrive with great songs and some real crackerjack originality, Arctics style.
