terrylamps Rather interesting free downloadable album promotion from a tie up with Nettwerk and the Vancouver Sun Newspaper. As usual Nettwerk are at the forefront of the digital model always seeming to experiment with different ideas completely outside of the major model. Don't know if it works for them or not but agree or disagree with their attempts at least they are trying out new things.

However to me this just seems like a new way of presenting a cover mount and it does seem to reinforce the idea that music is free, especially given that the quality of the bulk of the tracks on the album is very strong. Five of the tracks are 2007 and four are 2006 so it isn't just old schlock.....

The download was really simple as well, just click on the button and there it was so even those that struggle with such things (i.e. me!) could manage it without any computer throwing or mental anguish
