Mart We looked at it , found it affordable, but in a survey of the actual guaranteed following of the act, the response was cooled off due to the fact that most people asked did not have the means to play the product.
Much to my own personal regret, we have yet to have a vinyl release of our stuff since 1990.
I think that vinyl is still a wonderful promotional tool and buy it myself, but if you want a product to be played, its probably not the best option.
A small run of 7" singles is remarkably affordable though, the best small run UK company would appear to be Total Vinyl(London based) for this purpose.(large selection of colours as well, go for it, I`ll buy one!)
fred What do people here think about vinyl nowadays? Thinking of pressing some 7inches to get a project off the ground but don't know how expensive it can be...anyone here tried it recently?
