Mart Even more confusing, is loads of people buy a "new" Elvis tune every week.
I`m sure Elvis himself would have liked them not to be tired of the last one yet and certainly not have a need for a new one every 7 days.
Failing that, would the chart not be fascinating if to contend , every artist had to have a new track ready for the next weeks submission.

The Spice Girls for example, could have stock piled many by now for just this purpose.
Michael A question I ask myself now is about the purchasing cycle. Do people feel the need to run out (or sit down) and buy XYZ immediately? Is a weekly chart relevant. Should it be a 10-day cycle? Or three days?
