A great record that I remember very well from early 1985 and the look with interesting production.
In the summer after it was a hit I heard the 1974 summertime hit Beach Baby by First Class playing on the radio and thought, hang on a minute I've heard that somewhere before and I had, on Since Yesterday a few months earlier and was struck by the incredible resemblance between a piece of Beach Baby to Since Yesterday. I've no idea if anyone else has ever noticed it.
It's in the middle of the track, three minutes in, at 3.05 onwards here. What do you think?
I still have their LP, I think the final for them was their cover of Jolene.
I loved their image and voices. I thought they were going to be the UK's Indigo Girls

I remember when they had their hit "Since Yesterday". Smash Hits put them on the front cover, despite the fact that the Band Aid single had been made that week. In Smash Hits terminology they were almost immediately "Down the dumper". A very bad editorial decision. Its a shame they didn't have a decent follow-up for Since Yesterday, which I really liked.

Since Yesterday was their big hit but they had a few other singles including this one.
