JK2006 Great plug from my friend Popbitch today (we had lunch yesterday) and it looks like the word is spreading - Ernie K Doe for no1 this Xmas.

Why? For one reason only. We love it.

No profits, no involvement, no secret deals...

We love it so we plug it.
It's why we're in the business.
Paisley Yep I love it too - when the ad comes on everyone in my house sings along - a perfect Xmas hit!
centaur I LOVE IT

Its a booty shake song.
I also like the video.
JK2006 "Song" I might agree with you Walter but as a track it works brilliantly, those sawed strings and rhythm... anyone else remember his 1961 No1 hit Mother-in-Law?
Walter sobchak Agreed ; this may be an inspired 'synch' as is Andy Williams for M&S but the clout of X Factor, like a tank, mows down everything in its path. The other thing to take into account is that it isn't actually a very good song; 30 secs is quite enough!
