Green Man I did dig up Bad from my collection this morning, Quincy Jones was never overproduced he gave albums and records a badass attitude.
Rich Not just the producer of Michael Jackson but had two of my favourite disco/dance singles of the eighties, both decent sized solo Quincy Jones hits during the spring and summer of 1981 just a year to eighteen months before Thriller was released.

Such wonderful feelgood tracks. Never tire of listening to them. How can anyone not like this sound.
