I wish he would do something to bring Black Widow back into the limelight.

Dyna-mite is well, dynamite! Johnnie Walker played it on one of his last shows recently. I have it on my iPod.
What has happened to popular music that we no longer get such instantly infectious feel good singles of the kind Mud used to make, and put out at a time of the three day week and power cuts when the country needed a lift. Hearing Tiger Feet lifts the spirit and makes you want to get up and move. When it was a hit I was pre-school age and at nursery and actually had my own Tiger Feet plimsoll like trainers at the time. A total coincidence, they made me feel so self conscious!

The drummer Dave Mount took his life just before Christmas in 2006 rather sadly, whatever his demons where that drove him to that.
With all that Glitter and Stardust being sprinkled around in the early 70's it's amazing the mud stuck and a band with a name like Mud actually hit so big. You might have imagined it might have been a drawback to success, but no.
Once you hear Dynamite you want to hear it again and do the Dad dance. (Note to self, get bigger belt buckles)

As I'm sure everyone here knows he has had massive success as a songwriter with "Can't get you out of my head", and "GrooveJet" amongst others. He is a great talent and I'm glad he hasn't forgot where it all started in Carshalton with Mud performing songs written by the excellent Chinn & Chapman. I'm not sure if Rob wrote any songs in the Mud days on any albums, but I'm sure he learn a lot of ChinnyChap as they were known.
Had to do a quick search on Nicky Chinn, I remember him writing hits excellent hits for Exile but was not sure what else he had written. I have heard Suzi Quatro took some credit for her hits when she didn't write them, another one with a massive ego.
Rob Davis has many good stories to tell, he has dropped the camp image for a while now. I am not a fan of Kylie but "Can't Get You out of My Head" is a good party anthem. I would be more than happy to pay and see Rob and Ray perform together if they did a show locally. There were numerous package tours of 60s bands about 20 years ago but there was nothing from the 70s era. I know it's not the same but if Slady (an all-female Slade tribute band) does a gig near you Robbie it's worth seeing.
