Green Man Only die-hard fans of CCR would know about the destroyed Hoodoo album. Fogerty said it was not good, but what I have heard on the rough takes is flawless. I thought Eye Of The Zombie was his weakest album.

He destroyed the masters with a razor blade, and then he binned them.

Perfectionists can be a pain.

Bootleggers have also done a better job archiving stuff than the pros. I think a fan of Bob Dylan went through his trash to retrieve demos and masters and used heroin needles. I also think a lot of Beatles tapes were found in a skip, which someone from the offices retrieved.
