robbiex The 8th grade comment is something he shouted out concert shown in the channel 4 documentary. He said he wanted to see 8th grade pussy or words to that effect.
He is pretty old considering he is a contemporary artist. He's not much younger than some of the 80s artists on the nostaligia circuit
Green Man I agree Robbie.

I have never heard he wanted 8th-grade ming TBH.

Manson is pretty much brand and knows how to shock the media and public to boost sales. Graham Norton had an interesting chat with him.

Smells Like Children is a perfect example of shock rock and has a secret recording with a fan who molested her much younger cousin. The album went Gold in the UK.

I remember when Woollies would say they would not stock the albums, etc of course, they did after a while, it was good marketing and publicity. I remember buying Antichrist Superstar when I was about 26 in Woollies, the young lady behind the checkout couldn't stop looking at the artwork, it was probably the longest transaction in the store's history.

MM knows how to get market his brand, to me that is all he is, a brand.

His genre is not meant to be commercial, but he pretty much is.

Brian Warner's grandfather was a very unsavoury person and Warner was touched by a neighbour as a kid. It may be worth getting his autobiography.

I don't listen to his stuff now as my partner can't stand him or his music. I would have gone to Brighton just to see what all the fuss is about. I saw him once, but it was more than enough. He was 50 years old, and it showed.
robbiex It should be up to the theatres and the public to decide who plays there.

I'm no fan of Manson's. The only songs I know are the two cover versions Tainted Love, and Personal Jesus.

Also he is a pretty unsavoury character, talking about wanting 8th grade p***y. Which I think are 13-14 year olds. He paints himself as the lord of satan, so if you date him then you kind of know what to expect.
Green Man Brian Warner cancelled at Brighton?

He was not convicted of anything and is a free man. It was another he said, she said.

Green Party sound like Nazi Germany when it comes to cancelling artists they don't like.

Chloë Goldsmith, Green Party councillor for Regency said: "Allowing this performance to go ahead in a council-run venue flies completely in the face of the values our city stands for.

"Questions need to be answered as to how this booking was ever allowed to go ahead in the first place. We urge the administration to urgently review its policy on future bookings and work with the legal and events teams to seek advice on how this booking can be cancelled."

This Stephen sounds like a right melt. Even with no conviction he thinks Warner should be cancelled. Very ironic calling Warner "vile".

Campaigner Stephen Kingston said: “He is just a vile man. Brighton is the first date of his UK tour and it’s a council owned venue, so we feel the council has a responsibility to take a stand.

“Even without a conviction, why are we giving this man a platform? To be thinking and writing these things in the first place is disturbing enough."

“We have put all this to the Brighton Centre and the council, but they have mainly ignored us.

“The Brighton Centre said we accept acts have different perspectives and pointed out he doesn’t have a conviction, but in the same breath they say they don’t accept extreme hate."

“What message does this send?.”

I wonder if Channel 4 and Rolling Stone settled out of court?
Green Man Brian is now cleared, I wonder how much the FBI wasted on this and the Channel 4 advertisers should ask for a refund. He needs to sue Rolling Stone magazine.
