DJKZ I have finally listened to Adele "Pavements" and i must say i can't stand her voice and i don't like her miserable pouty face either. The song is not bad but I don't like her voice and those people calling her 'soulful' ??? wtf they don't know the meaning of the word.
DJKZ I understand JK, I was just making the point that she is number 2 at the moment so they must be doing something right ! Right ? lol.

Seriously over on the other board she has a few threads going on so I have purposely ignored her until i can listen without prejudice.
badgerbadgerbadger I read a hilarious article in the OMM this weekend with Adele saying that people assumed she didn't write her own songs.

Hilarious, because the day before I had heard Chasing Pavements on the radio and noticed that it was very similar to You Give Me Something by James Morrison and Leave Right Now by Will Young (Particularly the bassline). Lo and behold, a google search for Adele and Eg White turned up the missing link.

All 3-tracks are probably credited as co-writes, but I think it's pretty obvious that there's a reason they all sound so similar.
JK2006 Don't get me wrong KZ - I think Adele has a terrific voice; it's just a shame she's not being better tended.
DJKZ JK ! Allow Adele her indulgence after all someone allowed you all yours. If the public are buying into her Q'uelle Problem ?

I haven't heard her song and I may not like it but then again I hate virtually everything else out there at the moment so 'tant pis' as the french say.

Having said that, Basshunter at number one still is a bit of a shock. Well done to him though.
