BR I just wonder how BONO reconciles his public image of someone who is pro Fair Trade and anti the profits that Global brands have taken out of Africa with signing a deal with one of the Texan based Global brands set up by Clear Channel.

I am not sure how the ownership situation is with "Live Nation" - who owns them now ?

But I cant square BONO's beliefs with LIVE NATION's business practices.

Very strange - would have thought U2 would be the last rock group to get into bed with Clear Channel/Live Nation ( originally werent CC owned by the BUSH family ? )
