Got it, good post.
Couple of questions.
1: Is the poster DJones the same DJones who used to distribute my Cheap Seats Albums for me?
2: Would anyone care to respond HONESTLY to my next post. (Won't Hi-Jack this thread) it's something i've wanted to say for a while.
Cheers

I listen on the same sort of crappy speakers on my PC since my Mac is an internet free zone. |

I`m pleased to say, I got that immediately correct, but this computer is logged into the studio speaker system.
Anyone on a small system or the like would probably not get it.
As K says, its the cymbals and high hats that blow it usually every time, but in the case of the track in question, I found the bass end much fuller.
I wish people that upload music would learn that loading a track up to ITunes which requires 320kps, do not get the required quality by increasing a 128 file without going back to the master.
The effects on the percussion are disasterous, rather than the crash of metal, you had just as well get someone hissing into a microphone in the style of a human beatbox.
Good link to pass around guys, nice one.
