Richard Barbieri was a very much under praised guy in the 80`s.
His work was and is, incredibly accurate.
His use of live sequencing , which I was lucky enough to witness was absolutely pioneering in a live band situation.
I realise this post has just read like an epitaph, which of course it is not, but the guy is one of the absolute all time great and pioneering keyboard players, without whom, we would not even have had a Duran Duran and acts that followed from that musical vein. |

I think they are on their 12th album now, the new one I believe is through Roadrunner

Brilliantly produced, lovely vocals. A real dreamscape of a sound.
