Martin K All the posters appear to appreciate that not all music will suit all people.
There were a couple of slatings last year, but they are few and far between. Any contribution works well.
The amount of projects and contacts that I personally have found from these messages have been incredible, and it doesnt stop in internet writings either, there have been some lovely conversations over the telephones from people.
One of my friends is on a song which I feel is a guaranteed number one, and I posted a message on another music board, asking that we all got behind the song and the band.
One person replied to the message , a one word reply, the first letter in the word was a "B" , the last was an "S".
How very constructive eh?
Boston Baby I get some amazing tips of all kinds, from rap to comedy to rock, from this board and no negative vibes; the other boards all moan on about hype and flame people who mention good or interesting music... why?
I've stopped visiting those sites because of the nasty comments (you can always spot them when they have Hype sections and charge for mentions) but this board is a brilliant filter.
There are always bands worth checking out.
Like them or not; they warrant hearing.
Well done Tipsheet!
