Kelly Marie, what marvelous hips!
It`s a shame that those annoying electronic drums became the focus of that year in music.
Add to that list of course, "You Can Ring My bell", another great song, silly dating of production by using a latest gimmick.
Can we all imagine a world in which Pink Floyd had recorded "Another Brick in The Wall" with them on, or if Mike Oldfield had a set of the dang things whilst recording Tubular Bells??
I really believe in music being eternal in sound and will do so until the violin and the Gibson Les Paul, the trumpet, the saxophone, the piano and the drum, sound dated.
Methinks that will never happen. |

Oh I remember that Kelly Marie song. Was it really 28 years ago? Gosh! |

Up to number 3 goes Uncle Rob, but the Mercury Men take the top spot with 'I Cried Today'. I do like that song but I prefer Ashely's 'Serena' at number 2.
One that takes me back a few years is Kelly Marie with 'Feels Like Making Love' - new entry at 6.
Heaton sound rather good at 14. Fairly Summery.
I thought there might be a Neil Diamond entry at some point, but was surprised by which song. I first heard this one sung by someone else ... now I'll be wondering all day what that guy was called.
Little Josy at 19 has a fairly decent song which kinda grew on me as I listened.
Good variety of sounds this week.
