dixie	Agree. The police tried to get the festival banned, but Stratford Council over-ruled them. (Quite right too). There was a murder last year, but as you allude to, that was off-site, and took place on the M40 Motorway near warwick.
BR	news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/coventry_warwickshire/7546608.stm Shocking waste of public money to Police an event with only 20,000 people attending. Every road will have Police search teams and Number plate recognition vehicles. Everyone travelling in the area will be stopped and searched. Sounds to me like a "Big Brother" style of state is piggybacking this music festival as a "rehearsal" for maybe bigger things ? Surely no one can suggest this level of security for a small music even with no history of violence on the site ????? Very sinister development.
