on You Tube for both Mary My Love and The Geldof Principle - it's interesting how views and comments mount. After over a year on the channel, there are some clear hits coming through - both Vile Pervert and I Hate Coca Cola have had definite hit responses.
As have Wilde About Boys and The True Story of Harold Shipman - I actually believe, in the old model days, all these would have been top ten hits = even taking the reputation problem in mind.
These days, of course, there is guaranteed no radio or TV for any of my music, as anticipated, so the challenge becomes to build the interest (which the movie does - over 23,000 views/downloads in 3 months now) and allow word of mouth to spread positivity, whilst good old iTunes continues to sell more and more downloads (serious four figure cheques arrive every month). |
