DJones Football songs and other
nathanjay "hey aston villa, hey aston villa, you are the team for ussssssssss"

"albion, albion, blue & white is always right for the champions"

As for "world cup willy" (1966?) - All i remember is he wore a union flag, not a St George

Chas n Dave are the masters of the genre...
Al .. it's not as good as Terry Venables & Rider's "England Crazy" song in 2002 - or "Back Home" (1970) or "This Time We'll Get It Right" (1982).

Must say, though, that two of the best ever football songs are "The Boys In Green" (Republic of Ireland Euro 1988), and "Sunderland All The Way" (1973 FA Cup song).

I like football songs when they are sung by the team - even though "England Crazy" wasn't.

andrew I'll agree with you JK we don't need footie songs we didn't have them back in 1966.
