olive oil Am I the only one slightly disturbed by Music Week's handling of this story. Their headline: "Founding member of Pink Floyd found dead" doesn't realy imply that he died peacefully after a short illness (of cancer). It implies something very different to me.
emmapeelfanclub This is the saddest passing of the year so far for me.

My all time fave album is that first Floyd album "Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" and though Syd Barrett was and always will be my main hero and inspiration, Wright played a HUGE part in making that album the unique treasure that it is.

A fine musician and talented writer... he will be missed.
