Well done the Fab Chart for bringing that to my attention.
I didn't know either! Absolutely love Sparks and always find them interesting, especially since recent years has seen some of their best work ever. In fact their "Lil' Beethoven" album is my personal fave of this decade so far. |

The grandson of Sam Taylor, legendary Blue singer, comes into the chart at 19. He calls himself L*A*W and has a smooth soul-ish 70s sound.
Sir Cliff is in at 13 but not with his Thank You song. It's the other track - 'Mobile Alabama School Leaving Hulabaloo'. Groovy title and a catchy number.
Sparks come out of seemingly nowhere to emerge as the highest entry at 9. This song is from their 'Exotic Creatures of the Deep' CD. It's very ... umm ... Sparks!
No change at the top.
A BIG climb for The Gaskins, and a fair climb for Wendy ST. Kitts.
All good stuff.
