BR Thanks for that - agree with the advice.

Just a bit worried if bands go for one of these deals they could be squeezed by this "credit" crisis. Wondered whether it will actually work ?
Michael I've no experience with these people and so can't really comment on them. But the basic principle about getting any sort of investment is to know how much you really need so as to achieve what purpose and how much you are willing to give away in the process. It might sound obvious, but it could be worth getting help to set goals before trying to find the money. Yup, it's that dreaded expression, the business plan. I'm sure JK has one.
BR Anyone got any tips for artists who want to sign an investment type deal ( Hamfatter stylee ) ?

I believe - Big Life / Icebreaker etc are two of the companies doing this.

Tips and recommendations would be very welcome because I know several artists who are interested in this route and would be interested on the experiences that anyone has had so far.
