Angel I agree. Have always thought their tunes were a bit morose. This on the other hand could be on a soundtrack to a brat pack 80's movie. Long live the 80's!!
fred Completely the opposite for me, can't bear it. Run of the mill 'chugging' indie rock with standard lame/vague lyrics. And I don't understand how you can hear Hall & Oates in it at all! their stuff was soul/dance pop wasn't it? I defy anyone to be able to dance to Snow Patrol - like Coldplay their songs just don't have any 'funk' to them.
Bunk Moreland on the tipping front, anyone know IVYRISE ,currently a Radio 2 C List record. Their song "Disguise" has all the hooks and feel of a proper radio hit.
souchilduk Great track, and I really like the 80's sound. All the tracks I've heard from the album are good. The snippet of'Take Back The City' has had an incredible 95,849 myspace plays, considering the track has only been there for around a month!
sounds like... The Moody Blues methinks! v. good.
