I thought they based their decision on the final performance. I know Daniel's a tad dull but he did perform better. Bending the rules to suit? |

So this week it was Rachel (awful) vs Daniel (ordinary) and Dan got chucked. Rachel next week. Diana the week after.
I still think Alexandra deserves to win. |

The only time it seemed Leon was the intended winner was about two thirds of the way through the result show when Cowell's face dropped like a stone on being told by a production assistant that Leon had outpolled Rhydian.
And Leona "far from the best"? It which alternate reality? |

I began to get the impression that it is a farce, with the winner already decided long before the final. Leona was far from the best contestant two years ago, then last year it became obvious early on that Leon was the intended winner. I gave up on it before the final, but was not surprised when I heard the result. I wasn't even tempted this year. |

Like yourself JK, not a fan of Mariah Carey (clearly Simon Cowell isn't now after her apparant behaviour backstage).
I did watch it, saw the results show in the morning and was in agreement that Rachel and Daniel should have been in the sing-off.
Still very pantomine between the judges but more entertaining now Simon has banned all the cliches from the judges repetoire.
My tip to win is Alexandria, her mother is a very good singer in her own right and has sang in our local pub.
I've always maintained that it is quite an entertaining show, but I do not like the music that comes out of it.
Have to admit part of the reason I watch it, is that I really fancy Cheryl Cole. Not going to deny it. |
