itsmyparty Great arrangement and orchestration on the new track but like you my first thought was it was a pastiche of Mercy. Also thought her voice was a bit screechy at times which is something she has a tendency to do.
Angel Recently quoted as saying her voice is down to 40 fags a day. Classy. I love her voice although sometimes she does sound like winehouse on helium.
david Duffy's voice (especially on the earlier singles) reminds me of Carmel, who made some wonderful albums in the late 80s/early 90s... very like her in fact.
