cillas big arse I used to do the cures security.if anyone was seen recording we either took their machine from them and told them go round the back after show.once they wiped whatever they gladly gave back after show.If you were a stroppy prick then we ejected you from the show and same aftershow rule applied.
barry Does anyone know the exact laws relating to audio taping concerts? (without permission)

I can only seem to find info supporting the rules of the venue, if they forbid taping as stated on the ticket or outside venue then they are not allowed to convisgate equipment only stop you from using it ie wipe any recorded media- so you are restored to before the event type situation.


This seems to overide the views of the artist envolved.

the only other reference seems to be distrubiting the recording ie for profit etc.
